What to include in your message
Start with the property city and whether the project is for a home, rental or commercial space. Describe the rooms or exterior areas, the current condition and the result you want. If you know the approximate dimensions, include those too.
- The service you need and the surfaces involved.
- Areas with peeling paint, damage or worn finishes.
- Your preferred timing and any firm project deadline.
- Whether the property will be occupied during work.
- Access details that may affect a visit or the work.
For an existing project
Include the property location and enough detail to identify the project. Explain the question or concern and which room, surface or stage of work it relates to. Photos may help when a visible condition needs to be reviewed.
For a change to an agreed scope, describe the added or revised work before it proceeds. Price and schedule effects should be discussed with the project contact and recorded with the project documents.

Your inquiry provides the information needed for follow-up. More details or a property review may be needed before a written estimate can be prepared. Sending a message does not reserve a work date or create a contract.
